Responsibilities• Manage and develop the procurement and sourcing team at the local site, striving to continuously reduce purchasing costs and achieve department- and company-level KPIs and goals.• Develop and manage strategic relationships with suppliers in one or more assigned categories.• Work closely with Engineering, PMO, and relevant functional teams to support product development efforts, influence sourcing decisions, lead make-vs.-buy assessments and recommendations, and meet customer expectations, technical capabilities, and program objectives.• Manage the Approved Vendor List for assigned categories and custom components, including supplier selection, qualification, and contract negotiation.• Draft and negotiate contractual agreements, including terms and conditions.• Develop assigned category roadmaps that align program and business requirements with supplier capabilities.• Maintain professional knowledge of category technology trends through rigorous analysis of industry drivers, cost structures, technical improvements, and the competitive landscape.• Ensure supplier readiness and continuity of supply throughout the entire product life cycle.• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
