【Key Responsibilities】
- Collect and analyse data to determine the time, money, materials, and labour required for projects
- Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
- Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data
- Review material and labour requirements to determine whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components
- Track costs to ensure project execution remains within the estimated budget
- Assess the cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services
- Assist in compiling commercial proposals
- Other tasks as assigned by the manager
【Working Conditions】
- Primarily office environment with potential site visits to project locations
- May require occasional travel to meet with clients or visit project sites
- Full-time position with standard business hours; may require additional hours to meet project deadlines
资格
任职资格
【Must】
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and Technology
- Business-level English (written and verbal)
- Demonstrable proficiency in cost estimation software and spreadsheet applications (Excel), e.g., via work samples or assessment
- Valid driver's license
【Preferred】
- Practical experience in cost estimation or a related field (e.g., internships, projects, or previous employment)
- Experience in industries such as construction, subsea engineering, general contracting, or plant engineering
- Experience using data analysis and business intelligence tools英文
