Job Description
1. Design and develop industrial automation systems to meet customer requirements and company standards.
2. Design electrical systems, including wiring layouts, control panels, and electrical drawings for machinery and automation systems.
3. Develop, program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems, including integration with HMI, sensors, servo motors, controllers, and industrial communication networks.
4. Design and develop mechanical assemblies in collaboration with the engineering team to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
5. Analyse, troubleshoot, and improve both mechanical and electrical systems to enhance machine performance, increase productivity, and minimize downtime.
6. Supervise machine assembly, testing, commissioning, and final quality inspection before delivery to customers.
7. Support the sales team by understanding customer requirements, providing technical consultation, and proposing the most suitable automation solutions.
8. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and technical documentation, while providing technical training and mentoring to technicians and engineers.
9. Plan, manage, and monitor project schedules to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
10. Report project progress and technical performance directly to management, while contributing to product development strategies and future automation projects.
Qualifications
Requirement
1. Diploma, bachelor’s degree, or higher in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Machine Design, PLC Programming, or Electrical Control Systems.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical system design, wiring, electrical control panels, and preparation of electrical drawings.
4. Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Mitsubishi, Keyence, Omron, Siemens, or other major PLC platforms).
5. Good understanding of sensors, servo motors, HMI, inverters, pneumatic systems, and industrial communication networks.
6. Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent CAD software will be an advantage.
7. Hands-on experience in machine assembly, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan projects, mentor team members, and develop technical capabilities within the team.
9. Good command of spoken and written English. 10. Willingness to travel to customer sites for project implementation and technical support. Must possess a valid driver's license and own a personal vehicle.English Level
