  [Purpose]
  The Assistant to the Special Projects Manager would shadow this process and step in as needed to handle tasks like testing and quality assurance. The assistant to the SPM will never need to write code, but they will need to be comfortable with code and the software development process as well as general troubleshooting principles. They will need to "use both sides of their brain" to understand the needs of different departments, help to address those needs through creative design, but also communicate with programmers and understand how software actually works
  
  [Day-to-day responsibilities]
  - Receiving bug reports and feature requests from end users and writing tickets for those requests that developers will understand (using Microsoft's Azure DevOps, in English)
  - Testing new software features and fixed bugs, communicating bugs or usability issues you've discovered, approving code for deployment
  - Sitting in on detailed meetings, planning new software features with remote developers
  - Generating reports and representing data using PhpMyAdmin and Excel/G-Sheet (or possibly Tableau or R)
  - Communicating with multiple small teams, both locally in Bangkok and in New York City, verbally and via E-Mail and Slack
