This role will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to bring commercial concepts to market.Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize formulations for makeup products such as foundation, pressed powder, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, eyebrow products, etc.- Manage lab-scale experimentation, formula adjustments, and prototype creation based on client or market requirements.- Evaluate color matching, texture, spreading behavior, payoff, long-wear performance, water/sweat resistance, and sensory application.- Source, compare, and test new pigments, emulsifiers, binders, fillers, and innovative cosmetic raw materials.- Conduct required evaluations including stability testing, formula compatibility, texture performance, and safety assessments.- Collaborate with Production teams to support scaling up formulas and troubleshoot technical issues during manufacturing.- Prepare and maintain technical documents, COAs, testing reports, and product specifications.- Participate in client meetings, providing technical support and suggestions to achieve desired product aesthetics.- Lead, coach, and develop R&D chemists within the makeup formulation team.
